101 Dalmations

I just finished watching 101 Dalmations on BBC Three. What a funny film,

"Who won the gold?"

Of course, I was dismayed at the INCREDIBLE INNACURACCY depicted by a racoon in the English countryside! A racoon! I guess, as a viewer I expected to conjure up in my head that, of course, it most definately escaped from London Zoo. How else could it have got there?

I am surprised that Hugh Laurie, Joely Richardson and Mark Williams failed to point this out to the makers. They probably did and were rebuffed.
